Hirsch Hill Estate has won a GOLD medal for the 2008 Chardonnay at the International Cool Climate Wine Show 2009.   The 2008 Chardonnay was hand harvested from a single vineyard block.  Whole bunched pressed, the wine was fermented and matured in French oak, before bottling.  A soft creamy palate of peaches and nectarines mirrors the fruit driven vanilla aromas.
