  • On the Palate Yarra Valley - 14 November 2010

    Tantalise your taste buds as you wander the marquees showcasing some of the Yarra Valley's finest wine and regional foods.  You can taste, try and buy from an extensive range of superb regional wines and the best local produce coming from the kitchens of the Yarra Valley.   • New Release Wines - Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon

    Our new release and limited edition 2006 Pinot Noir, 2006 Shiraz and 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon are now available online.  Each wine is made from 100% estate-grown and hand harvested fruit. The wines have matured for 12 -15 months in French oak barriques of medium toast. The 2006 Pinot Noir has recently won a bronze medal at the 2010 International Cool Climate Wine Show.

     

     

  • Gold at the International Cool Climate Wine show

    Hirsch Hill Estate has won a GOLD medal for the 2008 Chardonnay at the International Cool Climate Wine Show 2009.   The 2008 Chardonnay was hand harvested from a single vineyard block.  Whole bunched pressed, the wine was fermented and matured in French oak, before bottling.  A soft creamy palate of peaches and nectarines mirrors the fruit driven vanilla aromas.
