| At Hirsch Hill Estate we believe there are no shortcuts in life. Whether it's breeding champion racehorses or exploring new vineyard practices, we produce honest wines with 100% estate grown and hand harvested fruit, offering a unique taste of the cooler northern end of the Yarra Valley region.
Keen to embrace, adapt and explore new and different practices, the last few years have seen us employ the help of some of the regions top winemakers; recently borrowing the skills and knowledge of Alan Johns. Alan’s hands-on approach to winemaking is a perfect fit for the family and the estate.
Hirsch Hill Estate can be visited by appointment only. If we’re not tending to our grapes we’re busy breeding and racing horses, something the family has done since the very first day of the estate back in 1991. We hope that the vineyard will emulate the success we’ve had breeding winners, which have included Group 1 AJC Oaks winner Rose Archway. |
