Tasting Notes

 

This wine has ripe stone fruit characters, interlaced with citrus and orange blossom on the nose. A generous palate of melon and fig characters are supported by crisp acidity.

Viticulture

 

Hand-harvested in March 2016 from a single vineyard block.

 

Winemaking

 

The fruit was whole bunch pressed with 50% free run juice. Racked after overnight settling and barrel fermented in new (30%) and seasoned French oak. Matured on lees in barrel for 9 months, stirred monthly to build mouthfeel, texture and complexity.
