Tasting notes
Aged in seasoned French Oak, a bouquet of dark cherry and plum with subtle earthy aromas. A very structural wine showcasing fruitful raspberry and plum flavours on the palate.
viticulture
2019 was a warm and dry vintage allowing fruit to fully ripen. Our Pinot Noir was exclusively hand-harvested from our single block Yarra Valley Vineyard.
wine making
Handpicked on March 2019, the fruit was de-stemmed maintaining whole berries. Fermented in open pots and plunged twice daily until dry. Matured in new (30%) and seasoned French hogsheads for 9 months prior to bottling.
